A new giveaway! Win a £25 iTunes voucher!

I have another giveaway!

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to win a big prize from Kiss radio. Part of this prize was some iTunes vouchers. As most of the apps we like to play are free, we have no use for this voucher, so I'm offering it to you, my readers. All you have to do is fill in this rafflecopter below and you will be entered. The more options you complete, the more chance you have of winning! Please ensure you complete each entry fully as stated as I will check and disqualify any that don't.

Best of luck everyone!

Just a quick note to add:
A lot of you aren't completing the daily tweet properly! You need to click on "Tweet" in the Rafflecopter, when the box pops up, click "Tweet" on that too. If done correctly, it will say "Your Tweet has been posted." If you then click "View it on twitter", it will take you to your tweet, which you then have to copy and paste the link. If you're struggling with that, just go onto your Twitter profile, find the tweet, right-click the time, copy the link then paste it into the Rafflecopter box. It is really simple when you know, any queries please ask!

Divine Chocolate Review

*All opinions are my own. I have not been paid or received anything for this post. The items I have reviewed were part of a prize*

Upon opening my email a few weeks back, I seen one from Marie Claire Magazine. "Congratulations you have won a Luxury Hamper of Divine Chocolate treats worth £55 with Marie Claire". As expected, the kids were very excited about this one! Ten days later the package arrives. Upon opening, the kids were gobsmacked.

Of course, the kids wanted to try a bit of everything, and the Chocolate Bees didn't last very long! They were definitely my favourite!

The girls loved these white chocolate and strawberry hearts. They really were tasty! They made me think of the little favours you get at weddings - and the perfect shape too!

I'm not a fan of Ginger so let the girls tuck into these too. C informed me they were lovely, not too strong and I *HAVE* to buy her some for Christmas!

The milk chocolate eggs were gorgeous! Not too rich or sweet, they didn't last long! Again, I let C have the dark chocolate eggs, I'm not too keen on dark chocolate. She said they were like "heaven in my mouth".

The chocolate bars we shared with family a few days later. They all enjoyed each one - my favourite was the hazelnut milk chocolate bars - yum!

So, thanks Marie Claire magazine - it's safe to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our prize!

We'll definitely be visiting the Divine Chocolate Website soon!

A perfect time for a catch up!

Well, that didn't work very well did it? When I decided to start this blog I made a promise to myself that I would keep it updated and post as often as possible. FAIL! I forgot just how busy I'd be in the run-up to this bank holiday weekend.

So, here I am, led in bed, typing this at 00.15am with matchsticks holding my eyelids open! Apologies in advance if parts don't make sense!

I feel like shouting from the rooftops (yes, even at this time!) as my local Football team, Newport AFC were promoted to League 2 tonight! They have been playing really well and it was a fantastic game which kept me (at least) on the edge of my seat! 0-0 until the 86th minute when Christian Jolley put us 1-0 up, followed at 90 minutes with a goal from Aaron O'Conner - giving us the final score of 2-0! I wish I could have been at Wembley to watch it live - I bet the atmosphere was amazing! The team will be having an open top bus tour around Newport tomorrow, so I hope to go and cheer them on then! It's not very often Newport gets recognised, and when it does, it's normally for the bad things. But it's not all bad! So, well done to the lads and better luck next year Wrexham!

I have actually started typing up a review to post about Divine Chocolates - hopefully that'll be finished tomorrow, and I have a little giveaway to sort out too! I'll leave it there for now, short and sweet, with a promise - I'll be back tomorrow!

I'm a winner!

I have always loved entering competitions. Ever since entering my very first one with Walls Ice Cream back in 1993 (I think) I've been hooked! I won that competition and received a Monopoly board game and a free cinema ticket to see Jurassic Park. And I've been pretty lucky with competitions since too. I enter competitions as a hobby and love winning things I wouldn't be able to buy myself or something that's not available to purchase.

For example, in 2011, I won two tickets to meet & greet the pop band The Saturdays! The competition was with Rimmel, and asked which product you thought best represented your favourite Saturday girl. I chose a foundation suitable for pale skin and Molly, because her skin seemed similar to mine. I couldn't believe it when I received the email saying I had won and couldn't wait to tell my daughter C, as it was the day before her birthday and she loves The Saturdays! And we had an amazing time - she had autographs off them all, pictures taken with them and the concert was fantastic too! When I have some spare time I'll upload the pictures.

Another amazing prize I won was a V.I.P. trip to Longleat with Thirst Pockets through Facebook. For this competition you had to buy a pack of Thirst Pockets and enter the barcode on the Facebook App. The prize included;

A 2 hour Safari tour in a 4x4
£100 voucher to use in the restaurants and gift shops
2 day passes to Longleat
2x adult and 2x child annual passes
1 night stay (Dinner, bed & breakfast) in a Longleat Group Hotel

I still remember when I received the email informing me I had won. I was on the bus with my mum and sister after we had been shopping - my phone beeped and I screamed with joy when I opened the email! The other bus users must have thought I was mad! When I got home, I quickly emailed them and confirmed all the small details. We went in November and it was so magical with all the Christmas bits around the park, my mum, the girls C & T and myself really enjoyed it! Keep an eye out for my post on the trip shortly!

So anyway, back to the topic in hand. Competitions.

As I said, I enter for a hobby, I regularly use the promoters websites and products of the competitions that I enter, but there is no obligation to do this, these products are just things that really interest me. Most competitions online just require you to enter your details and keep your fingers crossed. If anyone has any questions regarding competitions, entering them, finding them - feel free to ask :)

Here are a few fab competitions I've found on the web:

http://akufu.com/win-ipad/ - win an iPad with Akufu

www.phones4cash.co.uk - always have some fantastic competitions!

http://www.fruitypot.co.uk/win/game-play.htm - win Fruitypots - a daily game, register and click "shake". I won a lunchbox filled with Fruitypots a few weeks back.

https://www.facebook.com/myferrylink?sk=app_125122424346594 - this is another daily game but through Facebook. Just choose a glass and you could win!

http://www.phones4cash.co.uk - There are always some amazing competitions on this site!

As I find more, I'll add them for you. So please, enjoy and be lucky :)
